A common theme I see among Network Marketers is that they try doing too much all at once!

If they have an extensive product line, they are trying to promote every, single thing to every single person when instead they should…

Focus on one product (or product area ‐ ex: if there is a weight loss system that includes multiple products, you can focus on the entire program) at a time and along with that, find a target audience to promote that product to.

For example…

If you are in a company that offers cell phones, home security, merchant card services AND weight loss products; don’t try to market ALL of that!  Focus on one area.  If it’s gonna be cell phones, then focus on that.  If it’s gonnabe weight loss, focus on that.  Not everything.

Page 5: Marketing tip: Stop Trying to Sell Your Whole Line of Products At Once

Even better is to use that product or service and yield a result and then MARKET that result from that product!  Show the difference in your cell phone bill from before switching to 30‐90 days after you made the switch to service through your company…

Use those weight loss products or skin care products or whatever it is and show the before and after.

Stop trying to sell someone on something YOU’RE NOT SOLD ON!

Page 7: Marketing tip: Stop Trying to Sell Your Whole Line of Products At Once

Become a ‘mini‐expert’ in that area.  Not to say you have to become THE expert, but be willing to do a little research on the subject so that you can better share tips as well as why people should choose YOUR product over all the other stuff in the marketplace.

That way you stand out from everyone else in the same or similar company because you can add something of value due to your knowledge & expertise.

Make sense?

Page 9: Marketing tip: Stop Trying to Sell Your Whole Line of Products At Once

Now, I realize that after a while, there is only so much you can say about a topic before you start to become repetitive.  At that point, you can consider doing campaigns where, let’s say for 30 days or 90 days, you are going to focus on the weight loss products.  Then after that period is up…

Page 10: Marketing tip: Stop Trying to Sell Your Whole Line of Products At Once

You may decide to do another campaign where, this time, your focus is on the home security.  Now, if the product lines are THAT different from one another (weight loss to home security, for example) my advice would be to create separate mini‐blogs that focus on each campaign as opposed to lumping everything together on one blog or video channel.

So again, if your company offers more than one product or service:Pick oneUse it and yield a resultMarket that resultBecome a ‘mini‐expert’ in the subjectOffer value in your marketing
