Company Introduction Seaview Consultants Limited is delighted to have the opportunity to introduce our
Directors capabilities to you.
Seaview Consultants Limited are a recently formed Construction Cost Consultants built
on the experience of AAB Consulting Services Limited by Tony Butcher, who has worked
at major London based firms of Project Managers & Surveyors for a number of years.
We intend to continue the successes developed by Tony Butcher within the United
Kingdom or overseas.
Seaview Consultants Limited will ensure that the Client receives consistent advice
meeting the demanding requirements of the Construction Industry and delivering
success.

Clacton, Essex (Rovestar):
The developer sought to discover the
viability of converting a former 1890
seaside hotel into individual luxury en-suite
rooms. Role – Pre Contract Cost Consultant (Feasibility)
30 St Mary Axe (the Gherkin) – 20th Floor:
The Client sought the viability of converting
an existing open floor into smaller lettable
areas including the separation of all
services. Role – Pre Contract Cost Consultant (Feasibility)

Services Cost Consultancy
Seaview Consultants Limited offers a hands-on cost management service regardless of
the procurement route or the stage of appointment required. Seaview Consultants
Limited have been able to gather an internal database of costs to enable feasibility
studies, through to the full design process to contract stage on site to on-site monitoring
and project out turn costs. The advantage of early involvement of cost management
cannot be emphasized more in the early savings that can be made on base build
design, it is these works which normally consist of significant project values, and these in
turn are highlighted as being fundamental to the project, as it proceeds.
Project Coordination
Over recent years construction projects have become extremely varied in the
expectations of the design and construction periods. This has provided the need for a
specific management function dealing with an area dedicated to focusing on the
control of works from feasibility to a finished project, whilst enabling specific trades to
concentrate on their own discipline. As such, the Project Coordinator will provide a
single point of contact for the client, in managing the scheme.
Cost Control What is a Cost Consultant?
The Cost Consultant is a specialist whose training and experience are directed towards the
planning and control of expenditure on construction of all kinds.
The Cost Consultant together with the Project Manager/ Lead Designer is a key member of the
development and construction team – the essential link between the Client who commissions
the building, the specialists who design it, and the contractor who build sit. He is the expert on
construction costs and communications, and his services are used from the inception of a
project to its completion.
