•Its okay to say you’re “number 1” for just about anything just no comparing

Ads are meant to be more than just a measure of how many people remember your name

•They also are about what consumers associate with the brand and how the product can build a relationship with consumers

Product cycles tend to be short in Japan

Consumers want new things all the time

They are not willing to invest in a long-term campaign

Seven-Eleven has a new drink every second

day on average

It’s driven by retailers and it’s a habit

If still using the same long-term platform based message; it would be hard to convince a

consumers to buy a product when there are 300 of them
