History

Began with Mid 1970’s- Youth for Christ Volunteers

They established an official Board of Directors, and became incorporated as a private non-profit organization in June of 1983

Eighty acres of land was purchased at Avenue 12 and Road 35 in Madera County in 1985.

The first home was completed and the first 10 boys arrived in May 1987.

David hired Connie Clendenan to be the Development Coordinator in April 1988 and she later became the C.E.O. of Valley Teen Ranch. This is who we worked with Directly

Mission Statement

To assist troubled young people and their families in rebuilding their lives through caring relationships and opportunities to grow mentally, physically, socially and spiritually.
