Description

This was a two story brick house which I designed the foundation elements and other structural components. Work has been included designing the re-inforced concrete footer, concrete foundation walls with brick shelf, interior pier design, basement support beams, floor joists and brick lintel sizing. I had to design the reinforced concrete footer under the concrete foundation wall including width, thickness, keyway and rebar. Also the reinforced con-crete basement foundation walls and etc.

Description

My Client needed to design the structure of a Squash Center according to the Hong Kong codes. I provided more than one size of the structural members, for structural de-tails. As the structural members shouldn’t be the same size. For the professional drawings, I delivered DWG file with column, truss sys-tem, slab system shown on it. Also included the drawings of truss system, reinforcement details. I provided the superstructure design, structural de-tailing and Structural Modelling by SAP2000 and ETABS.

Description

The client was planning to build a house in an area called Al-Amerat in Mus-cat - Sultanate of Oman. The land size was 1166m2 consisting coordinates which is shown in the site plan. The whole project was planned to be done in 2 phases. In phase 1 I provided the site plan, master site plan and con-ceptual design. For phase 2, the architectural drawings (dimensioned floor plans, 4 elevations, 2 sections, roof plan) have been provided as well as the 3d visualization.

Description

Home Design & Construction Drawings, Northern Minnesota US

I received a rough floor plan for a home design from my client. He was look-ing for someone to help him workout the details of the plan to make it both practical and aesthetically pleasing. After completing the design he also asked me to do the complete set of construction plans for him. The home was supposed to be built in Northern Minnesota, so I provided the full package which met all applicable building codes there.

Description

My client needed to add an addition to one side of his existing house (which was quite old and ugly) based on the Canada standards to transform the look of the house from a traditional home to a modern/contemporary house. So I started first with the extension and then moved forward with the exte-rior design.

Description

The task was to design a swimming pool in Finland—61.5 N 23.75 E. The pool had to have minimum dimension of 15m * 9m,. While developing my environmental design I had to think about the latitude of the site. Solar geometry for different times of day and year. Climate data, including the diurnal and seasonal variations in temperature, prevailing wind directions related to the season, also climate data and consideration of the topography of the site which had to be a suitable site using local geo-graphical or climate information.

Description

This design was to provide confirmation of structural design and arrange-ment of steel beams, floor joists, roof joists/rafters and lintels. It was in ac-cordance with the current British codes of Practice BS 5950. Dead and live load assigned on beams. I used (ETABS) for the calculation. And the struc-ture calculated under standard combinations that specified in BS standard (1.4 DL+1.6LL). The coefficient assigned safety and all elements had enough capacity under specified loads (self-weight, live load, dead load).

Description

My Client was looking for an architect with experience on interior and exte-rior design for tight spaces. Needed a building on a 20ft by 100ft lot. Com-mercial space on the ground level for a mini supermarket and well laid out tiny studios/apartments on the second and third level maximizing use of space. So he basically needed everything done for a bare lot. The size of the lot was actually 35 by 100ft. He was more into the modern rustic look with an exterior of red subway tiles with a mix of brown artificial stone and the mode of construction was stone.

Description

My client measured the house, and sent the drawings and photos for a ma-jor remodeling. The work included a second floor to be added over part of the house, new entry, deck, and interior remodeling. Also the floors should have been extended to the outside of the walls and the exterior walls are then on top of the floor (that is the way platform framing is built in the constructed house).

I got a set of standard details with notes which needed to be put onto CAD with company LOGO, title box, relevant notes and details. Since it was an Australian company, I provided all the detailed drawings based on the AU standards.

Description

This is a mall space which I did the internal designing. The signature design element was curved walls and coffered ceilings with unique lighting. So I thought the best software that I can implement my client’s requirements is SketchUp, and so it was. Fortunately I could undertake exactly what he ex-pected from me.

Description

The task was to create framing layout and build sheets for timber framed townhouses from an engineered plan. The project was for a single, eight unit townhouse structure however it was for a mid sized commercial builder putting up multiple (30-50) complexes per year. After supplying with the fully engineered plan I used the preferred tools to extrapolate the interior and exterior wall layout, divided into sections to be built by the framing crew on sight.
