Registering in a parish is a declaration of your desire to be part of a Catholic Community and a commitment to the life of the parish family.
Being a registered parishioner makes things much easier when it is time for infant baptism, school registration, weddings, upon being asked to be a baptismal or confirmation sponsor, and even funerals.
We are often asked to provide affidavits for baptism and confirmation sponsors.
We can only do this if a person is a registered, active, and contributing member in our parish.
If you wish to register with our parish family, please take a registration card at the Parish Office.
Thanks for your cooperation.

Abusers often encourage their victims to keep secrets from their parents or other trusted adults, and reinforce secrecy through bribes, threats or by making it seem fun and exciting to keep a secret. Parents should talk to their kids about secrets, and teach them the difference between fun secrets like a birthday surprise and bad secrets like unsafe touches. Kids should know that adults should never ask them to keep secrets from their parents, and if an adult does ask them to keep secrets, to talk to their parents immediately.

National Call-In Day to Protect Dreamers February 26, 2018
Nearly 1.8 million Dreams, young people who were brought into the United States by their parents as children, may face deportation as soon as March 6th, unless Congress reaches a bipartisan deal to protect them. Please join the Bishops of the United States in calling for our legislators to protect Dreams on February 26th! All Catholics are asked to please call the Capitol switchboard two times as outlined below: 1. First Time: Dial (855) 589-5698 and press 1 to
connect to your Senators. 2. Second Time: Dial (855) 589-5698 and press 2 to
connect to your Representative in the House. Tell them: “I am a constituent and a person of faith calling to urge you to support a bipartisan, common-sense solution to protect Dreamers and their families from deportation and provides Dreams with a path to citizenship.”
LENT Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Lent is a privileged time of interior pilgrimage towards Him who is the fount of mercy.
Let us enter the penitential spirit of Lent. Let us embrace the difficulties, even crisis and “make sacred” all that surrounds us. God is present to us in the midst of helplessness and weakness. Jesus walks with us as a family and as a community: “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Mt. 18:20).
We are called to help one another to find God in the merciful face of Christ through:
Fasting and Almsgiving, together in Prayer:
• The law of fasting on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday applies to all persons ages 18 to 59.
• All Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence. Abstinence from eating meat is to be observed on all Fridays during Lent. This applies to all persons ages 14 and older.
• The Stations of the Cross will take place on all Fridays during Lent at 7:00pm.
May this Lenten season find the whole Church ready to bear witness to all those who live in material, moral, and spiritual destitution the Gospel message of the merciful love of God, our Father, who is ready to embrace everyone in Christ.
May Mary, our Holy Mother, woman of faith and sorrows,
lead us to her Son. May our faith make us loyal and faithful to Him.

Together in Mission 2018:
Let Us Love
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We thank you all for your continuous support to our parish during the Together in Mission 2017.
The theme of this year’s Together in Mission is Let Us Love.
The Archdiocese has assigned Maria Regina with the goal of $36,303.
We know this is a time of financial struggle for everybody; however, we would ask you to continue to financially support Maria Regina Church to meet this goal.
Would you consider, faithfully, a pledge of $80 per family?
This way, the burden will be light for each family to donate.
With 455 pledges, we would meet our goal, and thanks be to God.
