Bond Initiative Ahead for Sikeston R-6 Schools The Sikeston Regional Chamber publically announces its support for the Sikeston R-6 School Bond initiative. As a critical move forward for the future of our community, the SRC Board of Directors unanimously voted in favor of the proposal and the direct positive result it will have for the business community. As more and more companies, industries, and site selectors look to
our region for relocation and economic development, one of the very
first questions asked revolves around the success of our school
system. It is often the deciding factor in the expansion of a business
project for the welfare and growth of the companies' workforce and
employee satisfaction and morale.
This initiative will not only assist with the recruitment of external
prospects in the future, it will also have a definitive local impact on jobs

With a twist to the renowned Oscars, lavish yourself in the ambiance of the
evening as you, “roll out the red carpet with SRC,” for a night honoring our business men and women. For each award, three SRC members will be selected as nominees. The announcement of these individuals will be Thursday, March 20, at the member luncheon. To bring SRC members an unforgettable experience, new aspects have been added to enhance the annual program. So, if you or someone you know is se-lected, do not delay in the purchase of your tickets or table of six, as availabil-ity will be limited.
