Village of Livonia Board of Trustees Meeting March 8 th , 2017 Present: Mayor Cal Lathan, Ralph Parker, Bill Kurtz and Chris Genthner. Excused: Bob Leader Mayor Lathan called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. M/2/C (R. Parker, B. Kurtz) to approve the minutes from the February 22 nd , 2017 meeting. Passed 4 – 0. Mayor Lathan commented that the Bowen Clock is working well. M/2/C (B. Kurtz, R. Parker) to approve the payment of claims # 238 to # 253 in the amount of $ 10,177.80. Passed 4 – 0. A question was asked regarding what claim # 239 was for. EconoSigns supplied the Village with signage for the crosswalk at the Library. Claim # 250 is for paint and supplies to repair a leak at the DPW garage. What Do We Value? Many of the services that the Village provides to Village residents were discussed. Some of these services include: Garbage Collection, Christmas Decorations, American Flags, Hanging Flower Baskets, Autumn in the Village Festival, new Landscaping at the Library, a new Parking Lot at the Library, purchase of a new Backhoe and 26 Main Street. Tom Preston and Dennis Palmer will be present at the March 22 nd , 2017 meeting to discuss Budget items. Board Members are hopeful that water prices do not have to be raised. The Village Board also recommends keeping Garbage Collection for Village residents. M/2/C (C. Genthner, R. Parker) to adjourn the Village Board Meeting at 8:05 pm. Passed 4 – 0. Board of Trustees Meeting

Present: Mayor Cal Lathan, Ralph Parker, Bill Kurtz and Chris Genthner.

Excused: Bob Leader

Mayor Lathan called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

M/2/C (R. Parker, B. Kurtz) to approve the minutes from the February 22nd

, 2017

meeting. Passed 4 – 0. Mayor Lathan commented that the Bowen Clock is

working well.

M/2/C (B. Kurtz, R. Parker) to approve the payment of claims # 238 to # 253 in the

amount of $ 10,177.80. Passed 4 – 0. A question was asked regarding what claim

What Do We Value?
