2012 THUNDERGRAM Parent Newsletter March Thunderbird High School The NJROTC Annual Military Inspecon was conducted yesterday by Commander Kenneth A. Liles, U. S. Navy (Rered), who is the NJROTC Area Manager for the southwestern United States. The morning started out with the platoon inspecons. 82 percent of the cadets received an outstanding in uniform appearance. The ceremony started at 9:30 a.m. in the Stadium with a Trooping of the Colors, followed by an awards ceremony, a demonstraon of in-place and marching drill, and culminang with a Company Pass in Review. The Unit’s award winning Drill Teams also gave an exhibion drill performance. Following the ceremony, the cadet staff officers held a briefing and inspected on the Unit’s administrave and supply procedures. Once again, The Units receivedanoverallInspecon of Outstanding, and is once again, in the running to be nominated in the top 20 % of NJROTC units in the naon.
