northwest corner of existing 65 acre Class III landfill to new 2.5 acre parcel due north. Vacated northwest corner to be used for expanded landfill activity.
3. Community meeting held on October 24, 2007. 4. Public Notice: 1 mile radius.5. Expansion will increase landfill lifespan by one year (from
2010 to 2011).6. DRC recommended approval on November 14, 2007. 7. BCC approval of Special Exception (Zoning) and

• Determined request reasonable and a minor change to the overall 65 acre operation
• No opposition present at the public hearing
• DRC recommended approval

Approved the Special Exception request in that the BZA found it met the requirements governing Special Exceptions as spelled out in Orange County Code, Section 38-78, subject to five conditions.
