PRECAUTIONS AGAINST FLU AND CORONAVIRUS

In view of the need to observe some precautions to prevent the spread of any contagious disease, we are

going to follow some directives in our parishes that hopefully will help us to protect the health of all those who attend mass and other activities in our parishes,

• The Holy Water fonts have been drained and cleaned, and we are removing the Holy Water at the

entrance of the Church until a further notice. • The distribution of the Precious Blood for the faithful

have already been suspended. • We encourage all those who receive Holy

Communion to receive it on the hand, and not on the tongue, in order to avoid physical contact with the

minister. Please remember, that this is not a norm; it is just a recommendation during this particular time.

• Refrain from holding hands during the Our Father prayer.

• The exchange of the sign of peace preferably should be offered with-

out any physical contact. So, in-stead of a handshake, you may

bow to the persons nearby if they are not members of your own im-

mediate family.

Visit to Pine Street Inn's Shattuck Shelter

We will be visiting the Shattuck Shelter on Thursday

March 19th to bring and serve dessert. We welcome any

dessert and snack donations – homemade or store

bought. Please leave them in the side door vestibule of

the rectory anytime by 6:00 PM on the day of our visit. If

you are interested in joining us on our visits, you must be

at least 18, and complete CORI & volunteer forms. For
