Thank You from the Taste of Germany CommitteeThe fundraiser committee (Bob Woodley, Scott Smith, Steve Luecke, and Ralph Tiddy) thanks the Ladies Auxiliary for the decorations, the Newman Center for gathering donations and helping with dinner, the Knights of Columbus and St. Patrick Parish for their support, all the auction item donors (too many to list), the table sponsors, everyone who attended, and especially Johannes Woelk and Andrew Woodley who were a huge help throughout the day! The income was $5,418 and the expenses were $1,130. The net profit of $4,288 will help bring the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) missionaries to Rolla!

Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet during LentAll are invited to stay and pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy after Mass each weekend during Lent. In the Chaplet, we place all our trust in God’s merciful love. We pray for ourselves, our loved ones, the sick, the dying, and the whole world. The Chaplet is easy to learn and only takes only 10 minutes to recite. Handouts with the prayers can be found in the kneeler under The Divine Mercy image, which hangs next to the confessional. If you are willing to lead the prayers please see the Sign-up sheet on the round table in the Narthex."There is nothing more man needs than Divine Mercy – that love which is benevolent, which is compassionate, which raises man above his weakness to the infinite heights to the holiness of God."Pope John Paul II, Shrine of Divine Mercy, Cracow, Poland, 7 June 1997

A bake sale is scheduled for the weekends of March 21st, 22ⁿd and April 18th,19th. A lasagna dinner is also planned - details to be announced later. Chrism Mass to be Celebrated on Thursday, 2 AprilBishop W. Shawn McKnight invites you to attend our annual Chrism Mass at the Cathedral Church of St. Joseph, 2215 W. Main St., Jefferson City on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 5:30 pm. This Lit-urgy unites the Diocese in recalling the gifts of the Holy Priesthood and the Most Holy Eucharist. The Oil of the Sick and the Oil of the Catechumens are blessed and the Sacred Chrism is consecrated at this time. These Holy Oils impact the lives of those who are prepar-ing to enter into the Church, those who are ill, and all preparing for Confirmation and Holy Orders.

Gail Drallmeier Angel Fund EstablishedThe St. Patrick School Home and School Association (HSA) has established the Gail Drallmeier Angel Fund in memory of our beloved teacher. The purpose of this fund is to assist families who are struggling financially with school related expenses such as book fees, field trip fees, hot lunches, winter clothing, and school supplies. Through several private donations and contributions by the HSA, over $2,200 has been distributed since August. If you are interested in making a contribution, write a check to St. Patrick Home & School and include 'Angel Fund' on the comment line. Checks can be mailed to St. Patrick School (19 St. Patrick Ln, Rolla, MO 65401) or dropped off at the school or church office.

Garden Team CoordinatorNature provides a wondrous platform for experiencing a sense of God’s presence among us. Our parish desires to foster a thoughtful, beautiful, and peaceful atmosphere where all can encounter the beauty of our faith community even before they enter our doors. A volunteer group or individual is being sought to coordinate the overall care of the landscaped areas around the Church. The past program of “Adopt a Garden” is no longer in place. The Parish needs help to resurrect this program or start something new before the spring weather and the weeds begin to grow.Master Gardeners, landscapers, botanists, farmers, or any parishioners with a green thumb and an eye for beauty are asked to prayerfully consider this request. The coordinator will be asked to identify needs, coordinate work days and enlist other garden volunteers. Please contact the Parish Office if you have questions or are interested in volunteering for this important role.
