lJUET has organized Blood Donation Camp with Red Cross Society, Guna on August 21, 2011 and 89 residents (faculty, staff and students) donated blood.

lTagore Hall-1800 seater multifacility auditorium cum sports complex was handed over to the University in first week of July 2011 and was effectively utilized for counseling and El-Partido Grande de Freshers - 2011

Interior Economy & Environment-friendly Measures

lAn independent feeder for twenty-four hour electricity supply has been installed in the campus, thus saving on diesel consumption by Rs. 90 lakhs per annum.

lStreet-lighting in the campus has been reduced to optimal levels, saving on power consumption by 1/3 in street lighting per month.

lRain water is harvested in the campus for gardening and construction purposes. Water in the campus is recycled for horticultural work after treatment in a sewage treatment plant.

lApproximately 10000 kg of local garden produce of the campus has been consumed in the campus messes (Annapurna) itself.

During July to December 2011 seventy one research articles were published by the faculty of JUET, in different journals and conference proceedings of repute. The details of the published papers and books are as follows:

lAdditive Manufacturing Lab: Department of Mechanical Engineering has procured EOSINT P 395 (SLS) and ZPrinter 450 (3D Printing) machines.
