After one hundred and twenty years, man comes up to heaven. Judgment commenced, more merits than sins – concludes the Heavenly Court. Two Malachim come to the man and take his hands as they embark upon escorting him to his heavenly residence. On the way, they pass magnificent mansions and the man wants to go in, thinking it his residence. The Malachim restrict him and take him further. Beautiful palaces meet his eyes and the man questions the Malachim if he is to reside in one of them. Again, the Malachim shake their heads and they continue walking. The more they trek, the less attractive the houses are. Finally, the Malachim
slow down in front of a ramshackle house which is need of great repair. They turn to the man and state that this is his house of residence, this is your chelek! The man was shocked and asked, “This is Gan Eden?” The Malachim answered, “When you do Mitzovs, just to be Yotzer, when you do it because you are forced and you carry them out without Simcha, your chelek becomes a reflection of your actions!”
We are on this world today, now is the time to work. Do your Mitzovs with Simcha, with a bren and with life – it will reflect your portion in the World to Come.
Sugar is linked to a variety of health problems such as dyslipidemia and diabetes, heart disease, dementia, and even cancer. If you want to be healthy, you need to kick sugar out of your diet.
Get Rid of Obvious and Hidden Sources of Sugar
If you’re going to remove sugar from your diet, you need to do it wholeheartedly. Take a good look at all of your food labels at home and look for hidden sources of sugar. Even your so called “health foods” may contain plenty of it.
Here is a list of some common “hidden sugar” offenders to avoid:
And don’t forget the “white offenders” too (white bread, white pasta, potatoes, white rice, etc.). They may not have added sugars, but they’re just as addictive. Avoid these as well!
Get Nutritional Support
Kicking the sugar habit is tough. When starting out, you may very well feel moody, tired, and just plain miserable.
This is because you’re lacking the neurotransmitter
boosts you’re used to getting from sugary foods. The solution is to balance your brain chemistry to help even out your moods and cravings.
Saffron extracts and L-tryptophan, for example, help to balance neurotransmitters. Saffron appears to boost, and L-tryptophan supports the production of serotonin, a feel-good chemical that increases when you eat sugary foods.
Saffron also boosts dopamine and has even been shown to decrease carb cravings.
Cut back on your guilty pleasures, slowly. For example, rather than have one can of soda a day, drink half. And with time, you’ll feel repulsed by the sweetness of soda.
It may sound odd now, but give it a shot — you may just be surprised by how your body responds! The Bottom LineIf you want to be healthy, you must
kick sugar out of your diet as best as you can. And to do that you need to seriously familiarize yourself with the foods you eat.

Tilly Smith, a 10-year-old girl from Surrey, was vacationing with her parents and 7-year-old sister in Phuket, Thailand. They were on the beach when the tide suddenly rushed out. The water began to bubble and the boats they could see on the horizon started bobbing crazily up and down.
Fortunately, Tilly had studied tsunamis two weeks before in a geography class. In fact, she had even completed a project on the giant waves. She recognized that they were seeing the warning signs of a tsunami, and they needed to get off the beach immediately.
Smith alerted her parents to what was happening, and they then spread the word amongst the rest of the vacationers. They also alerted the staff at their hotel, which was quickly evacuated. Overall, Smith saved her family and 100 other tourists from the violent tsunami.

Thailand set the world record of the longest line of washed plates in May 2010 when 10,488 washed plates were lined up. However, that record was crushed on April 6, 2011, in India when 15,295 washed plates were lined up, equaling more than 2.36 miles.
A little government and a little luck are necessary in life, but only a fool trusts either of them.
