INSTALLATION OF VVVFD (MV DRIVE) ABB MAKE FOR 1250 KW HT MOTOR FOR VRPM AT UNIT-1 CEMENT MILL.

AFTER INSTALLATION OF VVVFD THE SPEED OF THE VRPM GOT REDUCED, HENCE INCREASED THE OUTPUT OF

THE VRPM AND BALL MILL AND REDUCED SPECIFIC ENERGY CONSUMPTION KW PER TONE OF CEMENT FROM

30.2 TO 26.72 KWH/TONNE OF CEMENT.

Cement production This year = 533236 MT

SEC of Cement Mill Last year =30.06 units (2012-13)

SEC of Cement Mill this year =27.95 units (Apr-14 To Jan-15)

Total units saved = (30.06-27.95) x 533236 = 2.11 x 533236 = 11,251,127.96

= 1.13 Million Units

Saving in Rs @5.5 = 1.13 x 5.5 = Rs 6.19 Million
