A: Is there a bus station nearby?

B: Yes. Can you see the traffic lights ahead?

A: Yes, I can.

B: When you get to the traffic lights, turn right. I remember there is one there. About ten minutes’ walk.

A: Can I borrow your bike?

C: Of course you can. Where are you going?

A: I’m going to the Bank of China on Jianguo Road.

C: Do you know how to get there.

A: No. But I think I can find it.

C: You’d better check the map first.

A: Good idea. How long does it take approximately to cycle there?

C: About half an hour.

B: How much are they per jin?

A: 15 kuai and 8 mao.

B: It’s too expensive.

A: How about 30 kuai for two jin?

B: I’ll have two jin. How much are strawberries?

A: 12 kuai per jin.

B: I’ll have half a jin of strawberries. Do you have peaches?

A: No, sorry. Anything else?

B: No, thank you.

A: Altogether 36 kuai.

B: Here are 40 kuai.

B: I think the green one is better than the yellow one. Green suits you quite well.

A: Ok. I’ll take your advice. Oh, no! I forgot to bring my purse. B, could you lend me some money?

B: No problem. How much do you need?

A: Three hundred yuan, is that OK?

B: Sure.

A: Thanks a lot. I’ll definitely return the money tomorrow.

B: There’s no hurry.

A: Sorry. I’m late.

C: That’s all right. I’ve just arrived.

A: I finished work early today and went to have a look around the clothes.

C: Is there any good stuff?

A: Yes. I bought a jumper.

C: Let me have a look. Really good. It feels very comfortable. How much was it?
