    Office of Economic AdjustmentMission Statement OEAs Core Identity

    The Office of Economic Adjustment, in

    coordination with the other resources ofthe Federal Government, shall:

    1. Assist communities to plan and carry outlocal adjustment strategies;

    2. Assist communities to engage the privatesector ventures to plan and/or undertake

    economic development and baseredevelopment; and3. Assist communities to partner with the

    Military Departments as they implement

    BRAC actions in support of DoD mission
