• Became a leading figure in Dada Movement in New York• He experimented with photography to find new ways to

create interesting images and rediscovering the “cameraless camera”• Created “Rayographs” by accident in his

dark room• Rayographs were made by placing and manipulating

objects on photosensitive paper

• He also had a thriving career as a fashion photographer as he shot images for Vogue magazine
