• 4-5 clean, empty snack • wrapper packages • floral wire • floral tape • hot glue sticks • pen or marker

MATERIALS

Dress things up with this sweet origami project!STEP 1 Cut a 5” square from the snack wrapper, place the preferred side down.

START!

STEP 2

Fold the paper in half on the diagonal axis. Crease well, using your nail or ruler edge to crease firmly.

STEP 3

Fold the right and left corners in towards the top. Crease well and unfold.

Fold down triangles along top edge.

Make 2 diagonal folds, folding the left and right corners to meet the crease you made in step 3.

STEP 4Flip paper over, make 2 small folds, folding tips along edge. Crease well and unfold.

Flip paper over again, unfold outer triangle and refold along creases creating a diamond shape. Repeat for other side.

Fold back in along crease towards center. Repeat for the second side.

Add a few small dots of hot glue to attach these 2 areas together. This forms one petal of the flower.

Join the units to each other by gluing them together as shown. Continue gluing until all 5 petals are together.

STEP 10 Repeat steps 1 to 9 to complete 4 more petals.

Cut a piece of wire about 10” long. Add a dot of hot glue at the base of the flower and insert the tip of the wire.

Use the floral tape to wrap around the wire.

Create as many flowers as you like to make a bouquet!

DESIGN TIP: Make different sized flowers by starting with smaller and larger squares. Just be certain to use the same size squares within one flower.
