MALAYSIAN ARTHROSCOPY SOCIETYCOUNCIL MEMBERS
5th MAS ASM 2017 COMMITTEE
It is with the greatest pleasure that I welcome you to join us at the 5th Malaysian Arthroscopy Society Annual Scientific Meeting / Annual General Meeting (5th MAS ASM 2017), which will be held here in Le Meridien, Putrajaya, Malaysia. May the spirit of our nation’s capital enhance our interest in looking forward and acquiring more knowledge, as well as updating our skills to better equip ourselves in our journey in making the future of our field a bright one.
I hope this meeting will also foster a strong academic and social relationship amongst our members as well as with our international faculty members. May it be a conducive avenue for all of us to satisfy our thirst for scientifically proven knowledge and skills with open hearted discussions and constructive criticism. I hope that each and every one of you will take on this opportunity.
My deepest gratitude goes to Brig Gen Dato’ Dr Mohammad Amirrudin Hamdan, Organising Chairman and Assoc Prof Dr Mohd Nizlan Mohd Nasir, Scientific Chairman who are working relentlessly to create an excellent scientific programme. The theme “Shoulder and Elbow: History, Current and Future” is one that is unusual for our society to specifically embark on, but I trust it will be an eye-opening experience for all.
I hope all of us will benefit greatly from this wonderful meeting.
Warm welcome & regards,
Prof Dr Wan Hazmy Che HonPresidentMalaysian Arthroscopy Society
It seems like just yesterday that we were in Melaka, getting the latest updates on preservation of the knee meniscus, and now we would like to extend the invitation for our upcoming scientific meeting.
As the Organising Chairman of the 5th Malaysian Arthroscopy Society Annual Scientific Meeting 2017, I warmly welcome each and every one of you to join us.
In Malaysian Arthroscopy Society, we are constantly trying to expose orthopaedic surgeons and allied health professionals to the latest developments and technologies in our field. With this year’s theme, Shoulder and Elbow: History, Current and Future, we are venturing into a field that we don’t go into too often. In a country where sports such as badminton has such a large influence, and one that is growing, we need to prepare ourselves as well as budding surgeons to be able to do justice for our patients and preserve the shoulder and elbow.
Our Scientific Committee, headed by Assoc Prof Dr Mohd Nizlan Mohd Nasir, promises a scientific programme of high quality that will definitely stir your interest. In addition, we look forward to having potential researchers use this meeting as a platform to share their findings on the shoulder and elbow through scientific papers and poster presentations that complement our main programme.
We look forward to seeing you in the administrative capital of Malaysia, Putrajaya!
Best Regards,
Brig Gen Dato’ Dr Mohammad Amirrudin HamdanOrganising Chairman5th MAS ASM 2017
