It has been a topsy-turvy week so far, with the keyindices oscillating in a tight range amid tepidvolumes. Today, we expect a slightly weak start onthe back of fresh declines in key global marketsand indecisive sentiment on Wall Street.

The near-term outlook is uncertain given the globalgeopolitical risks and the flare-up in crude. Themarket appears to be in a limbo and could staythat way till there is material relief in the ongoingpolitical turmoil in the Middle-East. A close below

5490 could reverse the short term uptrend.

The US markets closed flat in a quiet session.Stock indices in Europe closed down at the end of achoppy session. Asian markets are mostly in thered. Japanese shares are leading the fall in theregion after its GDP shrank more than estimated inthe last quarter.

Brent and Nymex crude oil futures remain elevatedamid relentless fighting in Libya and lingeringworries over supplies from that region. Libyan oil

output is reportedly down by two thirds. Copperclosed at an 11-week low while gold rose.

TCS (SELL, betw een Rs1152-1160, Target

Rs1092): After formation of counter attack bearpattern on candlestick on last Friday , stock hasviolated important support of 50DMA which wasprevailing at levels of Rs1,146. From the change of

polarity principle, a support once brokencorrespondingly turns into major resistance and weexpect stock to resume its downward trend aftertesting Rs1146.Adding to it, on line chart stock hasbeen making a broadening pattern which isinherently considered as bearish pattern and couldtrigger sharp sell off in the counter in the near

term. We advise going short on TCS MarFutures in the range of Rs1,152-1,160 with

stop loss of Rs1,182 for Target ofRs1,092.(Duration 5 days)

Chambal Fertlizers (SELL, below Rs72.50,Target Rs67): After rallying from the lows ofRs67, the buying momentum in the counter isfaltering out. The stock is struggling to close aboveits 200-DMA in recent attempts. Moreover, on thedaily chart, the stock is moving in a channel

trading near the upper-end of the channel.Formation of multiple tops around this level is

likely to reignite selling pressure in the stock in thenear term. Based on above mentioned technicalevidences, we recommend traders to shortChambal Fertilizers March Futures belowRs72.50 with stop loss of Rs75 for target ofRs67.
