What is humidification and why it plays key role in cotton industry?
• Humidification simply means water vapour present in the air.
• Cotton having hygroscopic property.
• Humidification region has directly impact on the weight of the textile.

• HYGROSCOPIC NATURE:- Absorb moisture from surrounding environment
• ELASTIC PLASTIC NATURE:- Crystalline polymer system
• Tenacity:- Strength of cotton fibres

Example: - A sample of air at 10 degree centigrade can hold less moisture than the same sample of air at 20 degree centigrade.
