Dear Madam/Sir:

Greetings!

As a part of the requirements of the subject Field Trips and Seminars, the graduating students of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) taking up Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering (BSECE) and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), are to attend field trips to different companies and plants dealing with computer system, electronics, communications, and electrical engineering facilities.

Phelps Dodge Philippines (PDP) is the countrys leading electric wire and cable industry. Similarly, DREAM Broadcast Center is a television broadcasting service provider operating via satellite in the Philippines. An educational trip on the said sites would provide a more comprehensive first-hand learning experience for students regarding communication and information technologies as well as exposure to the actual working environment in the field of practice of future Electronics and Electrical Engineers.

With that, we are requesting for your permission to allow seventy five (75) BSECE and seven (7) BSEE graduating students to conduct a field trip on February 6, 2013 at Phelps Dodge Philippines (PDP) located at Luisita Industrial Park, San Miguel, Tarlac City, Tarlac, and DREAM Broadcast Center located at Clark Special Economic Zone in Pampanga.

In line with this, the students coordinated with MTF (Making Travel Fun) Educational Tours and Services, an educational tour company, who made all the necessary arrangements including the itinerary and booking of the entire tour. The trip is also inclusive of the groups travel insurance to guarantee everyones safety throughout the tour.

Attached herewith is the list of participants (with their waivers) for the said field trip including the course curriculum, companys confirmation letter, company contract and package of MTF tours, budget proposal, nearest hospitals and the itinerary. Expenses will be shouldered by the student participants.

Thank you very much for your time and guidance.

Respectfully Yours,
