MAIZE STARCH IP

Maize Starch IP is a primer product used in the various applications in Pharmaceutical. It is free flowing powder, odourless and does not impart/mask anyor flavour in the final product.It is manufactured from carefully selected grains with controlled feeding to the system maintaining hygienic condition throughout the process to control microbiological load.

APPLICATION:

Maize starch IP is used as inert filler cum binder during manufacture of pharmaceutical tablets.

Its low particle size ensure smooth tablet surface.It also functions as tablet disintegrant as well as acts as a filler

and inert carrier of medicine. Maize Starch IP complies with all characteristics of Indian pharmacopeia of maize starch.
