Дорогие ребята!

Перед вами первый выпуск журнала “MainStream 515/Kids”! Этот журнал для увлекающихся ребят младшего школьного возраста, которые, как известно, имеют много талантов и увлечений. Если вы что-то придумали, сделали своими руками, написали, описали, записали и готовы поделиться этой радостью с читателями, рассказав им что-то новое и интересное, то этот журнал для вас! Этот номер для тех, кто увлечён изучением английского языка! Своей работой делятся с нами ученицы московской школы №515. Девочки решили продолжить рассказ о деревенской и городской мышке, который они прочитали на уроке. Сюжеты для 3 глав были придуманы и переведены на английский язык вместе со своим преподавателем. А забавные авторские иллюстрации стали отличным дополнением к приключениям двух мышек-подружек!

The Town Mouse

and

the Country Mouse.

Chapter 1 Be Careful! (by Novikova Elena,

Moscow Comprehensive School No.515)

Two mice meet together very often. One day the Town Mouse comes to visit the Country Mouse. They would like to have a meal.

But suddenly the Cat sees the mice! He comes closer and closer but two friends see him and run away into the hole.

The Cat is very brave! He hides round the corner.

Two mice don’t see him and comes out again. The Cat catches the mice! But the Town Mouse is very brave! She jumps out of the Cat’s paws and helps the Country Mouse to run away!

Since that time the mice are very careful!

Chapter 2 Eila

The Town

Mouse comes to visit the Country Mouse again.

The Country Mouse has a parrot. His name is Eila.

Eila is in the cage. But the cage is not closed.

Eila sees the Town Mouse and wants to catch her. The parrot sits on the table and the table is broken now.

The Town

Mouse is in the crack. She can hold the crack, but it is not strong.

The Country Mouse takes a pin and pricks the

parrot. Eila is afraid and flies back into the cage. The Country Mouse closes the cage and helps the Town Mouse to come out of the crack.

They are merry and happy now!

Chapter 3 The Cat and the bell.

Once upon a time the Country Mouse comes to visit the Town Mouse. Two friends want to have breakfast together.

And, of course, they meet the Cat again! He jumps on the table and wants to eat the mice.

The Country

Mouse starts to run away from the Cat. But the Town Mouse is very clever.

She puts the bell to the

Cat’s tail. The bell rings and the Cat is afraid of it. He doesn’t know where the sound comes from. The Cat runs away.

Now the friends visit each other very often!
