tipped saws to ensure precise cuts and minimized

raised grain. Shingles are resquared and rebutted for a

beautiful natural finish that doesn’t require additional

on-site trimming. Then they’re kiln-dried for greater

cedar shingles pre-assembled for self-aligning keyways.

to be a more efficient and economical way of installing

shingles—without compromising the look or traditional

integrity of the home. The systematic design

guarantees alignment of keyway spacing over three

successive courses, so shingles go up fast and look

Nantucket and Kennebunk family of products.

biggest jobs. Shingles are fastened to a watertight plywood backer consisting of a

layer of perforated asphalt felt and a moisture-eliminating rainscreen. Each 8-foot

panel is stapled front and back, then glued for maximum stability and durability—

and its smooth back makes the panel simple to mark and cut to size.

line of premium sidewall shingles. The William E. Poole Series

brings together a passion for classical designs with the lasting

beauty of our premium Nantucket shingles. They are available

in six signature TrueMatch® 200 colors, each handpicked to

accentuate warmth and charm. They are double coated with

solid stain for lasting durability and carry a 15-year warranty.

Our TrueMatch® 100 Misty Gray (oil-based) stain is also

available in a single coat. All William E. Poole colors carry a

50-year warranty against decay.

Best Combination of Beauty and Value.maibec®’s Kennebunk family of shingles are designed to

combine great appearance and affordability in a select

grade of shingle. There are no visible defects on the

exposed face, though you may find some knots or natural

characteristics on the shingle. Kennebunk shingles can

be TrueMatch® stained any color for a

completely customized and individual

look, and are available in individual

shingles or pre-assembled Cedar Strips.
