IDA Scale Up-gradation of Executives under Time Bound ExecutivePromotional Policy under MTNL
In pursuance of the order contained in MTNL, Corporate Office, New DelhiNo. MTNLjCOjPers. IIjProm. Pol. Exec.j07 dated 11.9.2007 cited above, the followingExecutives are hereby granted IDA Scale Up-gradation from the IDA pay scale ofRs.13000-350-18250 to Rs. 14500-350-18700 on completion of 4 to 6 years ofqualifying service in their current IDA scale with effect from shown against each.

On up-gradation to the IDA scale, the pay of the.o.fficers will be fiXed underF'R-22-l(a)(I). Option, if any, in this regard, may be addressed to. the respective AO(P&l\)'s'wlthin one mo.nth fro.ro the date of issue of this order, for the flXatio.n o.f pay under thisrule. Consequent to up-gradation o.fIDA pay scale of the Executives, there wiUbe no change in substantive status, designation, duties and responsibilities to theExecutives unless any change is ordered in any specific context.
In case any disciplinary jvigilance case is pending against the officersmenuoned i.'1.the Annexure or where in respect o.fofficers any punishment like stoppageof mcrementl punishmen.t is current, the fact should be reported to this office andthe officer' should not be' given IDA up~gradatiot1.
Every Executi:'.'e whase pay is up-graded to. next higher IDA pay scale willhave to compulsorily undergo TWO Weeks of training (One week inAdmmistratianjManagement/Customer Care and one week in latest develQpments incere competence area) fo.r being eligibl~ far drawl .of SECOND increment in the up-graded IDA Scale I.e., the training is to. be completed within .a period of two. years fromthe date .of up-gradatio.n te the higher scale. The E.xecutive who fails. to successfullyunderge the prescribed TWO weeks trai'1ing \\>i11no.t be eligible for consideration o.fnex.tIDA scale up-gradation even if he/she is due far up-gradation .otherwise. The detailedinstructions with regard to. training will be issued later on.
