The Mago lifting sockets are widely used in the application of precast concrete construction, such as lifting beams, wall and floor slabs etc.
ReinforcementMake sure the reinforcement bar sits tightly and firmly against the bottom of the crosshole, no gap is allowed as shown G=0, diameter and length of the reinforcement are determined on socket size and concrete strength and/or high horizontal force, lat-eral additional reinforcement is required.
Edge Distances and Panel ThicknessThe edge distances, distances between sockets and the panel thickness must meet the requirements in table below to ensure the safety of lifting.

1.2 Mago Crown Foot Anchors
The Mago crown foot anchors are suitable for lifting the light weight flat precast-concreteunits, such as the floor panels, flat slabs etc..The advantage is that in most cases no ad-ditional reinforcement is needed as the load is transferred through the crown foot to the concrete.

The Mago flat plate socket isideal for large, thin precast concrete components and GRC, such as slabs and shells, on which it is hard to place normal lifting sockets.
Reinforcement Bar:Make sure the reinforcement bar sits tightly and firmly on the flat plate by either tyingwire or welding (no slipping). Diameter and length of the reinforcement are determined by socket size and concrete strength at time of lifting (shown in table below). In case of low concrete strength and/or high horizon-tal force, lateral additional reinforcement is required.
Edge Distances and Panel ThicknessThe edge distances, distances between sockets (center distance) must meet the re-quirements in the table below to ensure the safety of lifting.

dThe Mago bolt anchor is suitable for transport-ing precast concrete components of varying dimensions. Thin flat slabs, facing panels, beams of columns can all be easily transported by Mago bolt anchors. The load is transferred into the concrete through the bolt so generally no additional reinforcement is needed.

1.5 Mago Bar Anchors
The Mago bar anchor is suitable for transport-ing very thin-walled precast components such as thin walls, flat panels etc., even precastmasonry wall components can be transported with this bar anchor.

1.6 Mago Lifting Studs
The Mago lifting stud is suitable for lifting pre-cast concrete pipes and slabs. The round foot transfers the load into the concrete thus reach-ing high permissible load even with relatively short anchor length. Longer lengths are used for reduced edge space or reduced concrete strength.
Material/Finish: B = Black or Bright Steel, G = Electro-Plating
The Mago shear stud can be used as a simple concrete anchor to provide a permanent bond between steel and concrete, such as in con-crete encasement of steel beams, piling walls and coffer dams. Or it can be welded through metal decking to provide the required bond between the steel beams and the in-situ cast concrete floor.
The Mago lifting eyebolt is used for lifting precast concrete elements with precast an-chors inside. The eyebolt can work under both straight pull and shear pull loads. The pres-sure plate must be placed in good contact with concrete surface to ensure the proper transfer of the shear force.

The Mago fixing inserts are used for the fixingof lightweight precast concrete units. A rein-forcement tail must be used for the transmis-sion of the load into the concrete. The fixinginserts are not supposed to be used for lifting under any circumstances.
