EVALUATION

INITIAL RESEARCHDuring the research of the pre-production for the magazine outcome I used all types of different ways of researching such questionnaires witch really helped a lot because I put questions in that I need to make the magazine succeed and I received a lot of help full answers from the people I handed them out to, I handed about 10-15 questionnaires and had tall the information I need of them but I had t go deeper into it to find out What I really need I cant do it based on 15 people so I was having face to face conversation asking for advice And I kept on getting the same results as I did from the questionnaire so during my spare time I as my home Friends what I was doing and they liked it and even before the shoot i gave my models a brief outcome of the project ad the were excited they were inspired by the idea, especially after the whole project was completed and the images were edited and actually showing them the physical copy of the picture they were extremelyHappy about it. This was for the front cover but for my double page spread I got the ideas of the people in the Questionnaires ad they gave me a lot of information on what to put in the double page spread and I went with it And I liked the ideas also the questions was really involved in the double page spread and was suitable for the genre which was based on the sport football.

PRODUCT RESEARCH

The type of product research I used to get information and an idea of what I need to do to make my magazine cover successful I learnt a lot of the research the initial and production search whichThen made it easy for me to do my own after gaining all the knowledge. I got some magazine covers and Content covers of the internet explore and pasted them into a PowerPoint and analysed them giving my own Opinions on the layout and design. First ting I did was gather loads of covers then analysed 3 of the coversTen compared two of the magazine covers.

Cover Content The difference between my Cover and the content page Is It looks like I have spent More time on the cover thanThe content so therefore the coverWill look better and it does. The Reason why I spent more time on The cover is because I that is the First thing people see when theyLook at it so it has to look at it’s best….

Whereas the content pageThat is the last page on the Magazine so it will be the last Thing whom may read it will see.On the other hand the contentLooks good but not compared To the cover and that’s coming From me the person who Designed both layouts/Covers.

LOGO DESIGN My Official Logo

This is my official logo just above and the reason why I chosen this one is because it looks familiar toThe Magazine Match! The font is very similar not just that… the other reason why I chosen it is becauseIt appeals to me and it is very suitable for a football magazine ad the colours remind me of theManchester united uniform I the champions league 2008 there the two reasons why I picked this one.The outcome of it was excellent it worked perfect with the colour of the cover and the text that was on the magazine cover.

IMAGE EDITING

As you cans see below the before and after picture by look at this I am extremely happy about it because It looks 100% better than I thought it would and I think I have done a good job on it. What I did to make it like this is firstly I added exposure on the full image as I always do on every picture so the brightnessstands out I played around with the leaver to get the right colour secondly I used the colour balance tool toGive it that balanced colouring on the image thirdly and finally I blur motion the background for the finish.The outcome of it is exceptional It looks like a professional photo.

After the editing was completed for the imageI then started planning right what do I want the Cover to look like so I was looking at the photo And think of varieties of colours and fonts I went onthe website to look for fonts and I found this oneIt looks great and when I seen this font I seen the coloursIn my head that I wanted to use i also support Manchester United so that jumped in my mind as well and I used their colours the red and gold and the logo matches Perfectly with the cover photo. With all the Text on the cover I made it short and simple and the finalOutcome of the magazine cover I was astonished I reallyLike it and so surprised it turned out like this.

CONTENTS PAGE

After the editing was completed for this image that I am goingTo use for my content page It did not take as long as the Magazine cover because this is just the content page you doNot put as much on it as i did on the cover. After doing theCover and the spread page I easily knew what I needed to do For the content page because everything in the spread I just Need to title it on the content for example I talk ticket salesOn the spread so on the content page I would title ticket salesSo really It was easy because I already have all the informationI need. I really like the picture I chosen to be on the content Page because I think it suits it not just because of the lightingIn the right top corner of the background even though I hadThe idea to use it but it is also they way the model is posing And looking at the camera he looks very hungry to win the Game and same goes for the model on the front cover he looksVery eager to win and it fits in perfectly with the whole ideaThat’s why I think it works well.

DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD

This is my double page spreadIt doesn't look as good but it is Complete I am very happy aboutThe image they look amazing and Suitable for he genre of theMagazine if I had more time I would Spent working on the design andEtting it to look at proffesional Standas like m magazine coverWhich is at that standar thn I had Time but when it got to doing The spreadsheet and contentPage time was running fast so I Rushed apart from ta I looks alright. the images show visiousness ,-Hungry and eargness to win and That’s the effect I was looking for.

PEER GROUP FEEDBACKI have had some great feedback from the people in my class and my friends from wear I live including the models when they seen it they were shocked imagine I was the first want to witness the image and I was astonished it was great knowing people like your work it looks so professional and I am very happy about it and so were the people I have shown it too

STRENGTHS OF THE PROJECTWhat went well was I knew what I wanted the final outcome to be like I just needed to make that happen by finding the missing objects and I did that well and at the end I finally found the missing pieces and the outcome is superb.

WEAKNESSES OF THE PROJECTThe weakness of the project is that I did not take my time I was rushing because there were no time left and I needed it to get done as soon as possible. If I had to do it again I would take more time on the task such as adding words to it and designing it more better but apart from a I like I did well as far as the I photos I have seen
