Comparisons
The two magazines main differences are based on their target audience’s. NME’s target audience is 16-30 and Q’s target audience is 30+. The font on the front of NME is a bit graffiti like that younger people would like but people 30+ may not like that. The layout on Q magazine’s cover is all professional and in order but the layout on NME’s cover is sort of overlapped and all over the place which wouldn’t appeal to 30+ year olds. The artists featured also show the main difference. On Q’s magazine cover it features artists such as Noel Gallagher, Madness and The Human League who were big 15-20 years ago. However NME features more relevant and currant artists such as Alex Turner, Skrillex and The Vaccines.
