French fashion designer known for Grecian style dresses.She was an Architect among the dressmakers.Madeleine Vionnet was called the "Queen of the bias cut.

Cutting against the normal grain of the fabric is known as a cut on the bias.Signature Style Bias Cut

She made most of her designs on wooden puppets first, letting the shape fall around them continuously until she was satisfied.

She chose fabric and line based on the client and cut with mathematical precision.
