Early Life
Madam was born on December 23, 1867 at Delta Louisiana. Madam was a slave so she didn’t get any life of education. At age 7 she became an orphan.
Adult Life
Madam first married a boy at age 14 called Moses McWilliam to escape her sister’s abusive husband. In the marriage Madam had a girl named Lelia. When Lelia was 2 years old Moses died. After Moses death Madam moved to St. Louis to join her four brothers .Then Madam married another men named John Davis but the relationship ended in 1903. On her third marriage she divorced in 1910.Madam died in May 25, 1919
Career
Madam was quite a business women. She started to make hair products for women. She became involved in this job in 1906. Madam C.J. Walker was famous because she became the first African American women to become a millionaire.
Reaction
I think this person was a very brave women that never gave up. I think this person helped a lot of African America people by showing them that to never give up and to always keep trying and to do the best for you.
