Setup is primarily holding information that has been decided during the implementation but occassionally it can be necessary to add or adjust the information.

Changes will typically have to be made by Administrator or users with Administrator access.

Project Price Lists

Maconomy has four pricelists per project

Cost, Intercompany, Sales & Standard

It is not necessary to add a pricelist for all four categories as it can be combined with prices added on the Employee informations card or in employee categories

Cost

Prices are used to calculate the cost

price for time entries.

The prices will be in the currency

Project Price Lists

When a project has more then one price match for an entry (Employee & Employe Category) the price will be selected in a specific order

The line number in the pricelist is important as Maconomy reads the price list from top to bottom. When time is entered, Maconomy will allocate the price based on the first line that matches the criteria starting from the top.


• If a project specific price is entered either for the employee or the Employee Category the prices will overwrite the price in the pricelist

Project specific Price Employee or Price Group

• Specific employees must be added at the top to overwrite the Employee price Group Employee

• The Price Group price will be selected for employees if it is the first match Price Group

Customer specific and other type of priselists can be added ongoing. A pricelist can be added to the customer Information and copied to all projects created for the customer or added to a Template and copied when the template is selected

New Task lists can be created and added to new or existing templates. The tasklist will be copied to all projects created from the selected template.

All Tasks must be mapped to an Activity

Tasks are unique codes for each Tasklist and cannot be changed once saved. Only unused Task can be deleted but all Task can be blocked

Pop-ups are used througout Maconomy and can be recognized in fields with an arrow to open the pop-up /drop down list.

Information in the fields must be selected from the list.

Pop-Up’s cannot be deleted but it is possible to change the name.

All Pop-ups can be selected from System Setup > Parameter & Numbers but when applicable also from the Setup section in the workspaces.

Pop-ups are either preset set with fixed nameing and can include useful information like Account Numbers & Calculation methods.

Each module has a range of free fields numbered Popup 1- Popup 5 or more

When adding new Payment Terms the calculation method must be entered with the number of Month and Days.


Vehicly Type

Vehicle Type is part of the Project Cost Group. The types entered can be selected in the Time & Expense sheet for Mileage Registration and define different milage rules

Pay when Paid is a Payment Term used to control payment of vendor invoices in the Banking system when system parameter enable Payment when Paid is selected. Payment can be on hold until the customer payment has been posted.
