Lightweight carbon roof.

The roof made from carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) also simply

called carbon is an extraordinary featureof the new BMW M Gran Coup. Its

contours guide airflow and thereforeimprove aerodynamics. This, in itself,

is impressive. But the weight saving iseven more so. Thanks to a resin-coated

weave of microscopically fine carbonfibres, the roof is around per cent

As an independent production of BMW M GmbH, it is faithful to the Mperfectly combining high performance with optimum, everyday practicality. To fulfil these high demands, the intricately constructed M hig

chassis has been redeveloped from the ground up.

Active M Differential.This optimises traction at full power even on

tight bends, during high-speed cornering andon variable road surfaces. An electronic control

unit links the active system with DSC and

proactively ensures the intelligent use of lockingtorque in every driving situation. In this way, no

drive power is wasted and perfect handling isguaranteed.

M Carbon Ceramic Brake System.The high-performance brakes in the new BMW

M Gran Coup provide exceptional performanceand are extremely resilient. At the same time,

the weight-reduced system impresses with

stations from around the world. You can also call up the latest statusreports from your Facebook or Twitter accounts and view upcoming

appointments on the Control Display, or even have them read to youthrough the audio systems speakers. New features include RSS feeds for

news and Wiki Local, which allows you to source Wikipedia informationon your local area.

Bluetooth interface with extended functions (Office).Use the time you spend on the road even more effectively. You can use

the Bluetooth connection to show office functions such as email, dates,tasks, contacts and SMS messages on the Control Display while on the

move. You can even have the information read to you via the audio speakersusing the text-to-speech function. With Bluetooth Audio Streaming, you

can also enjoy wireless playback of music through selected Bluetooth-enabled devices.

USB/audio interface with extended functions.

In combination with the standard USB/audio interface and the originaliPod USB cable, your BMW is able to display the album cover related to

the currently played track in the Control Display - for fast and convenientidentification (this function is also available for other devices). The USB/

audio interface also makes it easy to update vehicle software in yourBMW via a USB stick. This means that new mobile phones and music

players can always be fully functional .

Safety. The BMW ConnectedDrive functions in this core area comprise safety-focused services that significantly reduce the dangtraffic to the driver and passengers. Features include the full-colour BMW Head-Up Display.
