Purpose:- The purpose of the

payload for SHOT II is to test Bluetooth communications in a space environment

- No problems are expected but it is untested

- BlueGiga WT-11E Bluetooth data radios

• Secondary Mission of M-SAT is to test Bluetooth in space as an inter-satellite communication tool • Blue Tooth Benefits

• Inexpensive, off the shelf communications package• Ability to test preliminary swarm-sat communications

techniques• 433 kbps baud rate• Bluetooth system able to communicate to

approximately 50m with standard antenna system
