Job Title: Senior Android Developer/Lead 

The qualified candidate will be part of the mPortal India’s Smart Phone Client development team and will be involved in mPortal’s product design and development. Professional Skills5-7 years of experience in development in embedded/mobile domain.1+ years experience in Application development on Android and 3+ years in Java/C++ is must.Need to be well versed with Android Internals [NDK, SDK, AIDL, OpenGL 2D and 3D graphics, Telephony (GSM, CDMA), WiFi, Bluetooth, Linux Kernel, Camera, Audio, Video, Location and Map library etc.]Those who have developed high end applications/platforms published on Android Market will be preferred (need reference links).Good knowledge of OOPS programming languages ( C++/Java)Knowledge of J2ME/Symbian(S60)/Blackberry is a plus(not mandatory)Knowledge of Version Controlling Tools like CVS, SVN, Clear case, etcGood communication is a mustShould be self-driven and operate independently with less guidance Roles & Responsibilities:Must have hands-on code experience and have led a team of 4 to 5 developers in the pastAbility to lead and mentor team of application developersAbility to design solutions and come up with innovative solutionsAbility to delegate and review code submittedUI design

Job Title: iPhone LeadSkills•5-7 years of experience in development in embedded/mobile domain.•2+ years experience in iPhone/MAC application development. Expertise in Objective C and Cocoa frameworks•Must be able to lead project teams and coordinate activities of others.•Strong programming and design ability. Strong with Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture•Should have good understanding of memory management, multithreading, security and SQL Lite database •Should have knowledge of using Web Services and handling XML/JSON data.•Experience using core data and push notification for iPhone applications is an advantage.•Knowledge of SIP and multimedia data streaming techniques is an advantage•Should have good communication skill•Knowledge of other mobile platforms is an advantage•Must have worked on at least one application available in App store. Job Title: J2EE Architect/Lead

The qualified candidate will be part of the mPortal India’s Server development team. Professional Skills•8-10 years of experience in software design, development using Java, J2EE technologies •Should be hands on in Spring, Struts, Ajax, XML and Web services.•Should be hands on experience in product development, performance engineering and optimization•Should have experience in defining flexible and scalable application architectures, maintaining and improving existing application architectures and leading distributed teams through SRS, design, implementation, deploy, monitor, support.•Experience in working with Application servers like Jboss.•Must have hands-on code experience and have led a team of 4 to 5 developers in the past•Good knowledge in Oracle, SQL Plus etc.•Knowledge of Version Controlling Tools like CVS, SVN etc•Good Knowledge in UML.Roles & Responsibilities:•Ability to lead and mentor team of application developers•Ability to design solutions and come up with innovative solutions•Ability to delegate and review code submitted
