Carmeuse serves a variety of business sectors who all rely

Industrial milled limestone has two primary functions
1. Extender - reduce cost by displacing or “extending” more expensive raw materials
2. Technical Function:

High Quality Production Standards
First, Carmeuse’s milled limestone products are produced
from high quality, natural ores at 8 production facilities
located in the U.S. and Canada (see map on back page).
The milled limestone is manufactured in different particle
sizes such as fine, medium and coarse granular as shown
in Figure 1. Additionally, Carmeuse utilizes the most mod-
ern laser diffraction particle analyzer and colorimeter to
test its material. Carmeuse employees possess over 35
years experience in the business and are dedicated to
making the most consistent milled limestone on the market.

Concern for the environment is a critical way of life for all

milled limestone has virtually no adverse impact on the

and support quick and easy movement of milled limestone throughout North America.

Founded in 1860, the worldwide Carmeuse Group has
progressed into a leading company in the lime and lime-
stone industries. Carmeuse possesses more than 140
years of experience in the extraction and processing of
high calcium limestone and dolomitic stone into lime and
lime-related products. With its corporate headquarters in
Belgium, Carmeuse is well-positioned to serve the Eastern
