Eigg is reached by ferries from both Mallaig and Arisaig, vehicles can cross from Mallaig, a permit (Highland Council 01397-709000) and prior reservation are required (Calmac Ferries Ltd 01687-462403). The Island offers residents local amenities including general store, primary school, doctors surgery, community hall, craft shop, tearoom and also has broadband Internet.

NOTES – The Planning Permission is attached to the Bungalow Cnoc Mhor, also for sale through MacArthur Stewart. Without the house it is anticipated that the planning permission would have to altered to either one or two private dwellings.

DIRECTIONS – Once on the Island follow the main road to Cleadale and Cnoc Mhor is on the left hand side. The plot is from the top of the hill to the left of Cnoc Mhor down the slope to the fence on the far side of the old stone wall. The owners will normally meet interested parties at the ferry terminal and take them over to the house.
