May our offering rise as a sweet aroma before Him today. We are thrilled to share the good news that Bill Smith was baptized last Wednesday. Bill and Lisa (the daughter of our Bonnie Hammock) want to be a part of the Sunset family. Give them a warm welcome! We also prayed for Majors Lee who lost his mother in an accident this past Mother’s Day. Majors is Joe Ryan’s caregiver. Keep him and his family in your prayers. It is a thrill to welcome our youth interns for the summer. They are no strangers. Kayla Gomez is back for a second summer. And Drew Viguet needs no introduction since he grew up here at Sunset! We are so blessed to have two such fine young Christians who will be working with Chris and our youth group this summer. Pray for their success. This coming Wednes- day we are welcoming our first preaching intern: Phillip Bates and his wife, Alayna. Phillip is a preaching major at Harding and will be honing his preaching skills during his summer internship. He will be preaching both here at Sunset and also at Union Hill and Brookline. It is a privilege to be able to be involved in training young ministers like Phillip. (He and his new wife just got back from their honeymoon!!) Special thanks to all who had a hand in the Senior Dinner this past Monday night. This is one of the most touching and meaningful gatherings we have here at Sunset as the parents of our graduating seniors give their children their blessing in words that bring tears to the eye.
