LYNK’S DzLYNKEDdz IN Issue 3 LYNK’S “LYNKED” IN 3rd Quarter 2016 LYNK BEING PATRIOTIC! IN THIS ISSUE- 6 MONTHS TO NINE MONTHS Hi Everyone, Well Summer is here and I am now 9 months old. I weigh 72 pounds and I am still growing. I eat 6 cups of food a day and my favorite treat is an ice cube! Since the last newsletter, I have graduated from Puppy Kindergarten at Guide Dogs of America and I am now enrolled in a basics obedience course through the City of Lakewood’s park and recreation department. I have been neutered and I am learning to be very obedient and a very good canine citizen. I still go to work with Dave and Pam, and I am very good with meeting new people and going to new offices and homes. I always look forward to getting home and playing tug of war with Augie, Murphy and Bristi and having some fun in the doggie pool. I have been enjoying my kennel stays up at Camp GDA, and playing with all the toys and puppies in training who are also up on kennel vacations. Last week we had a special visit from Working Guide Dog Grayson and his partner Diana. Grayson was the first Guide Dog who Graduated from the Sepulveda Building Materials Golf Tournament. Diana wanted Grayson to have a fun vacation. We had a great time and had so much fun playing tug of war and chasing each other. Grayson is now 5 years old and is doing great with Diana! I hope to be a great Guide Dog like Grayson someday! In the next couple of months, I will be continuing my focus on learning more skillsets to become a great Guide. In August, I am looking forward to representing Guide Dogs of America at the Sepulveda Building Materials Charity Golf Tournament! Make sure you stop bye to see me! I want to Thank You for your sponsorship and for your ongoing support of Guide Dogs of America. Without you and your dedicated support I would not be able to be grow and develop my skills to become a good Guide Dog for someone who needs me! I am looking forward to seeing you all soon, and showing you all my new skills! Thanks again for all your support!! Concert In The Park
