Why set up student accounts?
• Free classroom account lets student complete one differentiated practice per day, at home or at school. – Do you have time to work individually with each
student every day, and to select differentiated practice activity based on each student’s proficiency and needs?
– Do parents have the time or knowledge to assist their child after school, or during summer vacation?
– Are parents asking you: “What can I do, to help my child with math?”
– When you say, “Practice math facts at home,” are you confident that students and parents will know what to do?

Why set up student accounts?
• Free classroom account begins with a rigorous, comprehensive diagnostic test. – Do you need to give each student and their parents
detailed visibility into areas of strength and weakness?
– Are you encouraging students and parents to view assessment as useful feedback to help them focus their learning so they can improve, and not simply a mechanism for assigning a grade to measure success or failure?
– Are the new common core standards fully understood and embraced by your students’ parents? Do they realize that math proficiency requires much more than rote memorization or repetitive drills?
