Many will buy by sight and we have a 100% satisfaction Luscious Lips—Show & Sell By Sales Director Gina Shetzer In order to sell our products at your maximum potential, you must be willing to show our products. Here’s an easy & effective way to show & sell lots of lip products at your appointments, parties, on-the-go’s, & while you’re on the run. Tips for assembling your bag & backup in the car... Apply “Try Me” labels to the full-size demo items in your bag. (Labels are under Resources > Unit Favorites on www.ginashetzer.com) Punch a hole in the top right of one of each lip color sample and put one of each on an o-ring. (See photos 1 & 2. Don’t use a key ring, you’ll tear up your nails. Don’t take entire strips or you’ll be asked for tons of samples by each person. The goal here is to move the colors being discontinued and to show what’s new AFTER showing what going first. First in, first out mentality is always best when managing your inventory.) You can refill the colors as you use them. I have separated mine onto several rings to group the color families together for the lipsticks (chocolates, neutrals, berries, etc.) to help her find a color in each color family faster. A girl cannot have too many lipsticks. If you are using samples for all of our lip choices, use a separate o-ring gloss. Only put 1 of each lip liner demo pencil in your bag. You will be mostly showing these on the back of her hand or you ’ll be going thru them extremely fast. Number them with a silver, white or gold sharpie 1, 2, etc in alphabetical order and apply them to her hand in that order so you don’t have to remember what color you put where on her hand. Assemble the items in your bag. There is not a right or wrong way to fill your bag. Just keep it looking clean, neat and not over-stuffed. Over-stuffed looks junky. Every time I put the products back in after showing to a client, they are usually in a different position. You will need to fold your Look Book in half for it to fit. In the trunk of your car keep a portable file or other system for additional look books, product delivery bags & tissue paper, sales tickets, additional cotton pads, trays, additional lip color samples with the holes already punched. Now it’s time to Show & Sell! This bag should go with you to all of your appointments and carried with you at all times to show while you ’re out on the run doing life. You will need some items in it at your Facials and Parties/Classes . As she says she likes a product or color, write it down on her “Like/Love” lists on the back side of a sales ticket. Set up the mirror and tray. Dispense the satin lips products & the lip primer pen in separate wells on the tray. Instruct her on how to use satin lips. (See insert.) (Hint: Tell her to keep mask in shower and use it on the same days she does Micro- dermabrasion or exfoliates her body with the Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub. The more products you can mention, the more you ’ll be able to sell across our entire line.) Spray a cotton pad with water for her to remove the lip mask. It just needs to be damp, not dripping. Follow with lip primer . She doesn’t need a ton of layers of this product. Apply in a sweeping motion ONCE around the mouth and across the top and bottom lip. Too many layers of this product on her lips will cause the lip products to slide off or feel like too much. While she’s applying the lip primer, explain the benefits of this product. (See insert.) Apply lip color to lips and show her coordinating lip liner choices on the back of her hand. Tell her the benefits of the lip liner. (See insert.) Discuss with her how she can adjust her lip colors with different shades of lip liners and glosses. Instruct her to apply lip gloss. Show her additional Jelly Lip Gloss, Nourishine Plus Lip Gloss, MK@Play Triple Layer Lip Balms shades/options in the catalog or a color card colors on the back of her hand. Clean her hand with the Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover. As she’s cleaning off her hand, tell her about the benefits of our eye makeup remover. (See insert.) When she orders one, ask her when was the last time she replaced her mascara and let her know about our mascara options. Flip up the “Like/Love” lists and turn the sales ticket over to the pink side so you can see her like/love list and it ’s still at- tached to her order form and ask her, “What would you like today?” Her like/love list will be a great reference point for her to remember what she likes. When you’re showing people lots of items in a short period, write down everything she says she likes or says something positive about under her like or love list. If she can’t make a decision on colors, let her know what she’d wear each color with or where...warms, cools, neutrals, beach, pool, work, party, etc. If she doesn’t buy it all, you have a reason to book her...Book her! :) Happy Selling! 1 2
