About me

I was born in 1999 on the 6th of July in Lithuania, Kaunas and was raised in a flat near the city centre. When I aged 7, I went to a local primary school called „Varpelis“.

When I aged 11, I had to choose my middle school and I chose a catholic middle school named „Vyturys“ in which I am still learning in.

Also, I have a red belt in a martial art called Ai-Ki-Do and I am also very out-going, friendly and talkative.

My school

My school „Vyturys“ was found in 1968. Back then, it wasn’t named „Vyturys“, during the soviet times, schools had a tendency to not have a name and just have a number, so „Vyturys“ was called the 27th middle school of Kaunas.

The school was named „Vyturys“ in 1993. An emblem and an official flag was created aswell.

The school itself teaches over 1200 students and has over 150 teachers.

My city

Kaunas - an old but beloved city of ours. It is believed the town was founded in 1030, but it is first mentioned in written sources in 1361. After all the pain and suffer the city is still standing in good shape. And since the city is so old, it has a lot of amazing architectural creations.

My city

Kaunas is also famous for being the temporary capital of Lithuania. It was the temporary capital two times – 1936-1940 when the Polish army occupied Vilnius and in 1991 from day 13 to roughly day 18.

Kaunas itself is also a very well built city with good transportation and vast population for a city of its size.

My city

• Overall, I think that Kaunas is a great city with a bright future and if everything goes right, the city will be in a very good shape. A couple of good, smart investments can change the state of the city in a couple of years, and I am hoping for the best.

Lithuania’s early history

Lithuania was originally a tribe from the baltic tribes until a great leader of ours Mindaugas linked all the tribes together for the purpose of protecting the primary religion –paganism. Mindaugas was crowned and became a king of the great Lithuanian dukery. But the king didn’t live for long and there was no other duke that was crowned the king, but Lithuania still was strong and brave.

Lithuania’s secession from the Soviet Union

After the dividing of Lithuania, most of the teritory went into the Russian empires hands. After some time, the Russian empire changed the name to the Soviet Union and kept Lithuania occupied until 1918 when the first independency pact was signed by Lithuania’s famous people. But independency didn’t last for long and Lithuania became a part of Soviet Union once again after the 2nd

world war.
