TIP 1: BE ON AS MANY SOCIAL MEDIAPLATFORMS AS POSSIBLE. Social media is agreat way to get your blog out there andinteract with your readers.

TIP 2: DON'T FEEL OBLIGATED TO WRITEWHAT'S POPULAR. Just because the ALS IceBucket Challenge is the latest craze doesn'tmean that you have post about it. Write whatyou love and the readers will come.

TIP 3: MAKE BLOGGING FRIENDS: bloggingfriends are the best because you can do somany things with them. E.G. guest posts, collaborate, email, pen pals and giveaways!

TIPS ON TRAVELLING

By the time I die, I will have set foot onevery continent, even Antarctica. I guess youcould I say I caught the "travel bug" from myparents, but, regardless of who I got it from, Ineed to be able to look after myself on all 7continents of the world. so I thought I'd sharesome tips.

ONE // do not overpack. Seriously, you aregoing to buy things, and you need room! Ifyou under pack, you can buy almost whateveryou want on your holiday!

TWO // be careful of pickpockets. they areout there, and they do want your money. I'dsuggest not to take a backpack, as they areso easy to get things out of!

THREE // be prepared for all weather. on arecent holiday to the UK, I didn't pack mysunnies as I thought I wouldn't need them. soof course the sun was out nearly every day!

FOUR // have fun! this isyour holiday, so have fun!

In my bag I carry:All the dreams that my heavy heartpossessesAnd hopes that my future will bebrighter than my past addresses.Visions for a life lived and no lovelostAnd the warmth that I gathered fromthe frost.A wounded pride but a grinning spiritAnd a memory bank bigger than anydigit. The millions of stories I've heardand cherishedAnd the tears of those who overtime have perished.Giggles from my younger and moreblithe selfAnd illusions from when I put myselfon the highest shelf. All the fantasies that I should havelet run wildAnd the recollections I will tell myfuture-child.Hallucinations from long hours spenton planesAnd countless blots of dribbling inkstains.

IN MY BAG I CARRYBY GEMMA TAYLOR

Worries for my battles being for nothingAnd the roses under my cheeks from allthat blushing.A late-night conversation that neverexpiresAnd the squeaking in the night from myrusted tyres. The slander and barbs thrown fromanonymous cars,And the insults that slowly turned intoscars. The lamp-lit confessions I wrote in ajournal,And the fleeting romances I thoughtwere eternal. The flakes of snow on my windowsillthat caused me to smileAnd the gazillion of daydreams of mewalking down the aisle. The red flushes and curses from hellishfeversAnd the scolding words fromnonbelievers.

In my bag I carry:Souvenirs from every second richerthan rumAnd my anticipation for all the secondsto come.
