aware that one is dreaming.• Facts:

- It is recorded far from 415 AD- Inception

- 82% of the sample reported this experience

QUESTION:• Is it really a condition so common to people?

• Reason: the samples of those researches were usually – – 1. students who enrolled in psychology

courses– 2. adults who have unusually high interest in

dreaming and/or lucid dreaming

during childhood and adolescent (18 and below)

• Also 64% showed they still have lucid dreams until now

FINDINGS(1)• The prevalence is over 60%• Most Lucid dreamers have less than 10

lucid dreams• Lucid dreams occur more often during

childhood and adolescent than adulthood• No gender differences• No relation between dream recall

ability/dreaming frequency

CONCLUSION• Having lucid dreams is not rare.• It is not as common as what previous research showed.
