• The legislative branch is made up of the two houses of congress: the senate and the house of representatives.

• The legislative branch is responsible for making laws. These laws are voted and discussed on in congress.

• There are 100 senators in the senate, two from each state.• There are 435 representatives in the

house of representatives. The reason why there are 435 representatives is because. Each state is based on the population; the more people, the more representatives.

• The President is the head of the executive branch. He passes the laws, and makes them official.

• The President approves laws that have been passed by the legislative branch.

• The executive branch includes the VP as well, and other members of the cabinet. The cabinet is made up of the 15 major departments of the government.
