Loy Krathong Festival
Loy Krathong is one of the country’s loveliest festivals. It is celebrated everywhere in November under the full moon.

The word ‘Loy’ means ‘to float’, and ‘Krathong’ means lotus-shaped vessel.

The krathongs are traditionally made of banana leaves. But nowadays some krathongs are made of coloured paper.
