Seen here is Samuel Slater. He is often credited with starting the Industrial

Revolution in America because he memorized the plans to a British mill and

brought them to the United States.

Eli Whitney developed the idea of interchangeable parts. Now

factories could make one part that could be used in a variety

of products. This made running factories profitable (able to

make money).
