LouAnn Hoppe LouAnn Hoppe can get lost for hours (or days) in a variety of art mediums. Watercolors, acrylics, photography and fabric arts are her current passions often capturing nature in the beautiful state of Min- nesota as well as other destinations. Water, rocks, trees, flowers and birds are consistent subjects. LouAnn is past-president of NorthStar Watermedia Society. She is currently chair of NSWS annual member exhibition and has served as chair of Artists’ Market show/sale. She is a member of three oth- er art societies in the area. Between 2005 and 2018, twelve of her paintings have been includ- ed in holiday cards for CourageKennyCards.com. Her Three Pop- pies was distributed nationwide to 140,000 members as a notecard for an AAUW fundraiser. Numerous pieces are in private and public collections including Healtheast facilities, and Association of Uni- versity Centers on Disabilities in Washington DC. She has had displays in three art galleries, held individual shows in four cities, illustrated two picture books, provided artwork for other book covers and has been included in nationally juried shows. LouAnn currently teaches at the White Bear Center for the Arts and on Crystal Cruises. LouAnn has been married to husband, Del, for over 50 years, is mother of two and grandmother of two.
