What You NeedCHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH:1 1/4 c brown sugar, light3/4 c shortening2 tbsp milk1 tbsp vanilla extract1 egg1 3/4 c all-purpose flour1 tsp salt3/4 tsp baking soda1 c chocolate chips1 c chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts), optional

CREAM CHEESE FILLING:16 oz. cream cheese 1 c sugar2 tbsp vanilla extract2 eggs

Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Brownies

Directions• In a large bowl mix all ingredients for

chocolate chip cookies in the order listed above. Divide into two parts and set aside.

• In a second bowl, mix all cream cheese filling ingredients until smooth.

• Spread one part of cookie dough on the bottom of greased 9x13 pan. It will help if your hands are wet, otherwise, the dough will stick to your fingers.• Pour the cream cheese filling over the

cookie dough. • Top the filling with remaining dough

by creating dabs of dough (or little pancakes of dough). Once again, it will help if your fingers are wet.

• Bake at 350 F for about 50 minutes, or until cake tester comes out clean.

• Cool and divide into bite-size pieces (about 40 or so).

ORDER OF THE BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF BAYVIEW, TEXAS

Pursuant to Section 54.039(a) of the Texas Local Government Code, this is an abbreviated copy of the Order of the Building and Standards Commission of the Town of Bayview, Texas, Cameron County, Texas for the public hearing held on March 24, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. to consider whether the Owner of the real property described below violated the Ordinances of the Town of Bayview, Texas. The Commission found, as follows: 1. Docket 2016-001: Kelly D. Hanna, Owner, Abstract 2 – Bayview Citrus Groves UT-7, SEC-3, BLK 1, 3.06 acres, Cameron County, Texas, Property ID #122060.

a) The Owner failed to obtain the requisite permit for roof work on the Property in accordance with the Ordinances of the Town of Bayview, Texas,

b) The Town of Bayview, Texas, delivered notice in accordance with Tex. Local Gov’t Code § 54.035 to Kelly D. Hanna.

c) Owner is ordered to reimburse the Town of Bayview $1,050.00 for related administrative expenses incurred in this matter by April 23, 2016.

c) Owner is ordered to pay the amount of $1,340.00 to the Town of Bayview by April 23, 2016. d) The Owner is ordered to bring the Property into compliance with the Town of Bayview Ordinances by April 23,

2016. The Owner will be considered to have brought the Property into compliance with the Town of Bayview Ordinances if the Owner does the following:

i. Applies for and obtains a building permit for the roof work on the Property. ii. The contractor registers with the Town of Bayview. iii. The Owner obtains windstorm certification of the roof.

iv. The Town Building Inspector reviews and approves of the roof work. 2. Upon failure of Owner to comply with this Order by April 23, 2016, the Town of Bayview, Texas, through its Mayor, may request a hearing before the Building and Standards Commission to determine the amount and duration of civil penalties the Town of Bayview, Texas may recover for failure to comply with this Order as allowed by Chapter 54 of the Texas Local Government Code; and provide any other remedies permitted by State law. 3. When this Order has been filed in the Official Records of Cameron County, Texas, execution of this Order shall not be affected by a sale or other transfer of such property. Any person or entity acquiring an interest in such property after this Order has been so filed is subject to the requirements of this Order. 4. Right to appeal: The decision of the Building and Standards Commission is final. An appeal may be filed by verified petition in District Court for Cameron County, Texas, setting forth that the decision of the Building and Standards Commission is illegal, in whole or in part, and specifying the grounds of the illegality. Petition for appeal must be filed by the Owner or other interested party within thirty (30) days of receipt of notice of this Order. Appeals in District Court are limited to hearings under the substantial evidence rule. A rehearing by the Building and Standards Commission may only be granted in the following circumstances: (A) Proper request is made within thirty (30) days of receipt of notice of the Order of the Commission; and (B) Rehearing fees of five hundred dollars are furnished with the rehearing request. The Building and Standards Commission may waive these fees in cases of financial hardship based on written affirmation from the applicant. Please note that this is an abbreviated copy of the Building and Standards Commission’s Order for the public hearing held on at 6:30 p.m. on March 24, 2016. A complete copy of the Order is located in the office of the Town Secretary and can also be found in the Official Records of Cameron County, Texas.
